Automated APAT and My HR Portal

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) aimed to enhance its human resources operations through the automation of its Performance Management System (PMS) and Human Resources Portal. This initiative seeks to streamline HR processes, improve data accuracy, increase transparency, and facilitate better decision-making across the department. The project was implemented at low cost, but with maximum impact. The automated process has vastly eliminated long and tedious manual processes with exorbitant paper saving costs. Employees are able to apply for leave, bursaries, and other HR requirements at the click of a button, thereby reducing red tape, risks and challenges with manual processes.
